Founded in 2023 by Lee & Jeff Huth, DownLow Chocolate makes craft chocolate from bean-to-bar in small batches from their home base in Camas, Washington and ships products domestically across the USA.

DownLow Chocolate makes healthy, low-carb chocolate that uses natural & organic ingredients without sugar or sugar alcohols. We work with suppliers from Latin America & The Caribbean to sustainably source the best organic cacao available.

Inspiration
Get "The Goods" on the DownLow is inspired by The Roaring Twenties & The Jazz Age: Speakeasies, Prohibition Era, Swing Dancing, and Art Deco design. Our products are named for 1920's slang phrases, like The Cat's Meow, The Bee's Knees, & Cuppa Joe.

Most chocolates bars are made from cheap, mass-produced, untraceable cocoa liquor (melted chocolate wafers, not made bean-to-bar). At DownLow Chocolate, our cacao beans are single-origin and sustainably-sourced. Then the beans are roasted, cracked, winnowed, ground, refined, tempered, molded, and packaged into small batches of chocolate bars.
Keto Low-carb Chocolate Consumers is a niche segment within the chocolate industry that is focused on producing chocolate for people following a ketogenic or low-carb diet by using an alternative sugar-free sweetener.
Most low-carb chocolates use sweeteners like Stevia, Erythritol, Sucralose, which have an aftertaste, cooling-effect, and/or cause digestive issues.
